Based on software theory, the master program of Software Engineering in TYUT focuses on the scientific problems in software development process and project management. Its predecessor was "computer software and theory" in 1997, and "software engineering field" in 2002. In 2011, it was granted the authority to confer master's degrees in software engineering.
